Trying to blog more

I've taken so many pictures over the past two years, but I haven't posted many.  I'm going to try to post more, starting in the new year.

Hope everyone has a great holiday season!  I'm looking forward to seeing some friends from out of town over the next couple of weeks!

Future place to photograph - Evergreen Brick Works

Ever stumble upon a place that you love and want to photograph but don't have the time?  This is one place I stumbled upon, Evergreen Brick Works.  I was here for a conference, but couldn't even stay for the whole day because I had another appointment for that same day. 

I took a couple of random photos from the balcony, so I remember to one day find my way back to this place to take some pics.

Super Moon 2012

It was a perfect night to take pictures of the super moon last night.  Got quite a few great shots with my point-and-shoot. Got a few compliments upon posting them to Facebook last night.

From the Archives: A black and white portrait of cousin

I was putting a present together for my cousins, and came across this photo I took a couple years ago.  I took my camera with me to the park, and just took random shots of my cousins as they played.  This was my favourite from that day.

Habib Ali Al-Jifri, December 2011

I was attending a knowledge retreat over the holidays, and I took a few shots of the speakers with my point-and-shoot.  This is Habib Ali Al-Jifri, one of my favourites. He is such a kind and gentle soul.  I think this image is a little soft, but I think that works for this picture.
