From the Archives: Laamas at Cudleigh's

A picture of the lammas at Chudleigh's. Visited in September, but never got around to processing the photos until now.  Actually, only processed about half of the photos.  Shot this on aperture priority.... still learning. 

No DSLR any more :(

My aspirations to develop my photography skills are now put on hold as the DSLR I had access to decided it had done enough living.  It was a great camera, but I've been told, a) it's not work fixing since it's so old, and b) it would be better to invest in a new DSLR, for which I don't have the finances!

For now, I'll just post interesting photos I take with my point-and-shoot, and hopefully, I when I get a DSLR, I'll go back to "working on my photography skills".

Tasha, West Humber Trail, October 7, 2010

All these photos are not airbrushed in any way.  I thought they looked more real that way!  

Tried a cool look in editing this one.  I really liked it!

At first I didn't like the paved road in the background in this one, but now looking at it, I really do!

In these photos, I tried to capture maple keys falling down around Tasha (having thrown them in the air moments before) BUT, the wind kept blowing them behind me!  I will try this one again until I get the image I want!

Tasha was gracious enough to be my first test model to try my hand at portrait photography.  We had spent the day shopping, on a mission to find furnishing for Tasha's place in Jamaica!  We took a break an hour before sunset when we headed out to the West Humber trail and took these pictures.  We had fun, and despite what she thought, Tasha was a great model!
